The Finance and General Business Department at Missouri State University anticipates an August 2007 opening for The Baker Chair of Insurance, a tenure-track Associate or Full Professor in Insurance/Risk Management position.  Candidates must have a Doctorate in Insurance/Risk Management from an Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International accredited institution.  Ph.D. or DBA in Insurance/Risk Management, collegiate teaching experience, demonstrated scholarly record, involvement with professional organizations, and working with insurance industry preferred.  Duties include teaching courses in Insurance on a full-time basis.  Applicant should also have refereed journal publishing skills and engage in service to the department, college, university, and community.  Applicant should have national reputation in teaching, research, and service.
