Deadline for Nomination: July 20, 2006
The Executive Committee of the Asia-Pacific Risk and Insurance Association (APRIA) invites nominations, including self-nominations, for the position of editor of the Asia-Pacific Journal of Risk and Insurance. APRIA has benefited greatly from the leadership and dedication of the current editors, Profs. Sam Cox and Soon-Jae Lee, from the creation of the editorial board to actual publication of the journal and thanks them for their superb efforts.
Nominators should secure the agreement of those nominated. The editor(s) serves for a three-year term that may be renewed. The Executive Committee’s intends to make its recommendation to the Board of Governors at the Tokyo annual conference, with the intent that the new editor will be in place shortly thereafter.
The nomination should include: (1) a complete curriculum vitae and (2) a statement of vision for the journal during the nominee’s tenure. All nominations should be e-mailed to the APRIA Secretariat at APRIA@scidomain.org.sg or Secretariat@apria.org. The deadline for nomination is July 20, 2006. All questions may be referred to the secretariat.
Hotel reservations for the Capital Hilton, Washington, DC
If you are planning to attend the annual meeting and have not made a hotel reservation, the deadline for the lower rate is Tuesday, July 4. Prices will go up! Please help us fill the room block and avoid attrition by making your reservation.
