This year’s launch program has approximately 50 students, chosen nationwide and sponsored by local MetLife or NEF agencies, who will be introduced to the field of financial services through a highly structured program. Message to Annual Meeting Presenters
USB memory sticks are available for each meeting room. Please email your presentation to the ARIA Executive Office at aria@cpcuiia.org no later than August 1. Presenters who submit their presentations early should still practice good risk management by bringing along their own memory stick or CD with a copy of the presentation.
Those presenters who do not submit their papers via email can come to the registration desk for assistance in loading their presentations onto the laptops. Please come to the registration desk one day prior to your presentation so all laptops can be loaded first thing in the AM. We do not have an extra person dedicated to AV, so providing individualized service to those who do not follow instructions will cause staffing problems at the registration desk.
Those presenters comfortable with AV can simply bring their own memory stick or CD at the time of their session and make their presentation in that manner. If presenters plan to distribute handouts, there is the Business Center at the Capital Hilton or Kinko’s one block from the hotel.
A Resume and Job Placement binder will be available at the registration desk during the ARIA 2006 Annual Meeting. A loose leaf binder will be available at the registration desk to insert your resume or place information about a job opening. Use this convenient service to locate a job or fill a position. Any announcement of a job opening should first be approved by Anne Kleffner, Chair of the Placement Committee. Anne’s email address is anne.kleffner@haskayne.ucalgary
Please three-hold punch each announcement or resume. Meeting attendees should furnish their room number, cell phone number, or where they can be reached. Those unable to attend the annual meeting can email their resume or job opening to Anne Kleffner and a second copy to the ARIA Executive Office at aria@cpcuiia.org no later than August 1.
HAVE A GOOD WEEKEND!
