 NAIC Financial Summit The Financial Regulatory Services Division of NAIC will hold its 4th Annual Financial Summit on October 27-29, 2008 in Tampa, Florida.  This is a great opportunity to meet with insurance regulators and find out the hot topics affecting the insurance industry.  Please visit NAIC’s website at http://www.naic.org/frs_financial_summit.htm for additional information and conference updates.

 Travel tidbits 

AirTran joined US Airways, Continental, United, Delta, and Northwest airlines in charging a fee for a second checked bag.  The cost is $10 and will go into effect on May 15.  Business-class travelers and elite members of AirTran’s A+ rewards frequent flyer program are exempt from the new charge. Virgin America will increase the charge for a second checked bag from $10 to $25 beginning May 5.
