ARIA Excellence in Teaching Award for 2009 This award recognizes excellence in risk management and insurance teaching. Applicants should have a distinguished record of excellent teaching throughout their academic career. The Excellence in Teaching Award is a non-monetary award and will be awarded only when an exceptional candidate is identified. The application and supporting materials should be mailed to Dr. Lisa Gardner at Drake University. The application deadline is March 30, 2009. Asia-Pacific Risk & Insurance Association (APRIA) 2009 Call for Papers APRIA is accepting proposals for its 13th annual conference at Peking University in Beijing, China on July 19-22, 2009. The deadline for submissions is February 13, 2009. Please see the attached document for additional details.
Upcoming ARIA Mid-Year Executive Board Meeting ARIA’s mid-year executive board meeting will take place in January. If ARIA members have any issues for board discussion, please provide the Executive Office at aria@cpcuiia.org with your thoughts or concerns by January 15.
