 Fifth International Longevity Risk and Capital Markets Solutions Symposium Call for Papers The Fifth International Longevity Risk and Capital Markets Solutions Symposium will be held on September 25-26, 2009 in New York.  The deadline for submissions is May 15, 2009.  Please see the attached document for additional information.

 APRIA 13^th Annual Conference The 13^th Annual APRIA Annual Conference will be held in Beijing on July 19-22, 2009.  Please see the attached document for additional information on conference registration.

 IIS honors insurance leaders 

 President’s CPCU Scholarship The American Institute for CPCU recently announced a student from Appalachian State University and a student from Indiana State University are two recipients of the 100 available scholarships in the President’s CPCU Scholarship Program.  The scholarship covers the cost of CPCU textbooks, course guides, study aids, and national exams.  Additional information about the program and a scholarship application are available at www.aicpcu.org/cpcu_scholarship.htm  or by calling Kathy Hinkle, Director of Customer Relations at 610-644-2100 Ext. 7849, or email at hinkle@cpcuiia.org

 Insurancecampus.org website ARIA has established a presence on www.insurancecampus.org  ARIA is listed as one of the 40 plus groups recognized by the website.  ARIA members are encouraged to join the website and the ARIA group listed on page 3.  The intent is to use the website to share ideas and ask questions of fellow ARIA members.  The first discussion topic asks what collaborative activities should ARIA pursue with organizations such as RIMS and the Spencer Educational Foundation?

 Additional Nominations of Upcoming Election of ARIA Officers & Board Members Reminder:  Additional nominations to the slate of nominees are due in the ARIA Executive Office by Friday, March 27.  Please mail to: Tony BiacchiARIA Executive Director716 Providence RoadMalvern, PA 19355 In order to receive an electronic election ballot, don’t delay payment of your 2009 membership dues.  Only current members will receive an election ballot and biographies.  Also, please be sure that the Executive Office has your current email address so you have the opportunity to vote.  If you prefer a paper ballot, contact the EO at aria@cpcuiia.org or call 1-610-640-1997.

 ARIA 2009 membership dues  2009 membership materials have been mailed.  Don’t lose opportunities to keep current.  Membership entitles you to:
