 ARIA Salutes 2009 ARM Award of Excellence Recipient Each year ARIA sponsors a $250 award of excellence to an AICPCU/IIA graduate in the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) program.  This year’s recipient is Chad C. Nice, ARM of Zurich Direct Underwriters in Parkville, MO. On behalf of ARIA’s entire membership, congratulations on a job well done!

 

 Every Author of an Economics Book Now Provided with Free Website on the Largest Online Author Directory Nashville, TN, (May 11, 2009) – FiledBy, the largest directory of author sites on the Internet recently went live in March of 2009. Located at http://www.filedby.com, FiledBy provides a single location where all authors and books can be easily discovered, and a free author site which can be claimed and enhanced by every published author with an active ISBN in the U.S. and Canada. FiledBy now provides every author of an economics book with a free site, which they can claim, enhance and use as a marketing and sales vehicle for their books and themselves. FiledBy’s more than 1.8 million author pages can integrate photographs, biographies, video, links, podcasts or PDF’s for free. Upgraded site tools are optional and include press kits, blog tools, event listings, promoting forthcoming books, resume tools and more. For authors without a website, FiledBy is a free or low-cost solution that provides control over their content, helps sell books and can serve as the primary online platform for their work.
