- Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) Requests for Proposals
- ARIA 2009 Annual Meeting papers now available
CAS Requests for Proposals The CAS is interested in proposals for two research topics. One is an update for the prior Risk Premium Project, a review of financial and actuarial literature relating to the valuation of liabilities through 2008. The other is concerned with the competing accounting valuation principles of “Mark-to-Market” and “Going Concern.” Please see the attached documents for additional information. Attendees at the ARIA Annual Meeting in Providence can obtain further information from Richard Derrig.
ARIA 2009 Annual Meeting Papers The 2009 annual meeting papers are now available to download. To access the papers in PDF file, please proceed as follows:
1. Open the site (preferably with Microsoft Internet Explorer ) at: http://mycb.wsu.edu/sites/
2) Log in with the following account
Account name: ad\aria2009
Password: Ar:@20)9
Important: the password should be entered exactly as it appears above.
3) Locate a paper by session number and authors.
Note: Also, all papers are organized by session, their order within each session might not be exactly the same as in the program. Please refer to author names for locating a paper.
Papers not listed on the website have not been received by us.
