 Lingnan University Lingnan University’s Department of Finance and Insurance is accepting applications for Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor/Senior Teaching Fellow/Teaching Fellow.  The application deadline is May 10, 2010.  Please see the attached document for additional information.

 

 ARIA 2010-2011 election ballots Electronic election ballots and biographies have been distributed to all current 2010 ARIA members.  We have a good slate of candidates, so please take a few minutes and cast your vote.  The deadline to vote is May 20.  Please contact the ARIA Executive Office at aria@cpcuiia.org should you experience any technical problems with the election ballots.  If you have recently paid your membership dues and did not receive an election ballot and would like to vote, please contact the executive office.

 

 AICP college scholarships The AICP scholarship program presents three (3) $1,000 scholarships annually for tuition and fees (made directly to an accredited educational institution) to selected recipients in an effort to further insurance education, and encourage, support, and reward college students who have an interest in insurance as a career or a business-related field.  Scholarships are not renewable; however, a recipient may reapply.At a minimum:An undergraduate applicant must be a full-time student, as defined by the accredited educational institution the applicant is attending, and must have completed the first year and one semester of the second year in that educational institution.

A graduate applicant must be taking at least two courses at an accredited educational institution and must have completed four (4) graduate credit courses in his/her chosen program.  The applicant's status must meet the above requirements for the term subsequent to when the scholarship is awarded.  Applicants must have declared his/her major course work to be in the field of Insurance, Actuarial Science, Economics, Finance, Management, Mathematics, Risk Management, Statistics, or a business-related field. For an application and information, please visit the website below or call 703-234-4047 http://www.aicp.net/careercenter/scholarship.cfm

 

 DICIM 2010 Call for Abstracts 

The Dutch International Congress on Insurance Medicine is accepting abstracts for a podium or poster presentation to be held on November 11, 2010 in the Netherlands.  Please see the attached document for additional information.
