 Butler University College of Business Butler University College of Business is accepting applications for a tenure-track position in Risk Management and Insurance beginning August 2011.  Please see the attached document for additional information.

 

 Mississippi State University College of Business The Department of Finance and Economics at Mississippi State University is accepting applications for a tenure-track endowed Associate or Full Professor in Insurance.  Please see the attached document for additional information.

 

 SRIA creates new programs to support doctoral students  In an effort to encourage and support students seeking graduate degrees in RMI, the Southern Risk and Insurance Association has created two programs, effective this year.  First, any doctoral student attending the conference will receive a one-year free subscription to the Journal of Insurance Issues.    Second, the “Best Paper Award” has been created.  Graduate students that have proposals accepted to the program are invited to submit a full paper for consideration.  The paper is due by October 15th and should be submitted to the Program Chair (Cassandra Cole at ccole@cob.fsu.edu).  The winner will be notified by November 1st and the award will be announced during lunch on Monday at the annual meeting. SRIA’s Annual Meeting will be held November 21-23, 2010 in Charleston, South Carolina.  For additional meeting or registration information, visit the SRIA website at
