Greetings ARIA members: Today’s listserv contains the following: 

  • Casualty Actuarial Society Committee on the Theory of Risk Request for Proposals
  • American Association of Managing General Agents (AAMGA) Call for White Papers

 

 Casualty Actuarial Society The Casualty Actuarial Society is soliciting research proposals for a second round of the Risk Premium Project.  The deadline for submissions is March 15, 2010.  Please see the attached document for additional information.

 

 AAMGA The American Association of Managing General Agents (AAMGA) is accepting white papers on property and casualty industry-related topics focused on the issues and dilemmas faced by organizations and individuals in the Wholesale or Excess and Surplus and/or Surplus Lines industry, specifically where the industry is headed in the future.   

Undergraduate risk and insurance juniors and seniors and graduate students are eligible.  The application deadline is April 1, 2010.  Please see the attached document for additional information.
