Munich Behavioral Insurance workshop Call for Papers The Munich Behavioral Insurance Workshop is accepting papers for its workshop on December 12-13, 2011 in Munich, Germany.  Selected papers from the workshop may be considered for a special symposium section to appear in the Journal of Risk and Insurance.  The application deadline is July 31, 2011.  Please see the attached document for additional information.

 

St. John’s University The School of Risk Management, Insurance, and Actuarial Science at St. John’s University is accepting applications for one or two full-time, tenure-track positions as Assistant or Associate Professors.  Please see the attached document for additional information.

 

ARIA Teaching Resources webpage We hope that you will consider contributing some of the information to the ARIA Teaching Resources webpage.  The webpage contains a growing collection of teaching materials and resources created by ARIA members as well as various risk management and insurance organizations.  You are invited to contribute material for this section.  We are looking for syllabi, lecture materials, assignments, and/or short articles that can be used in classes.The information will be available to current ARIA members only.  Given the nature of the material, the webpage is password protected.  Passwords for current members will be available from the executive office at aria@TheInstitutes.orgTo contribute teaching materials, please email your materials to ARIATeaching@gmail.com.  In your message, include the following information for each item:

1)      Course / Topic  2)      Type of material (Syllabus, Assignment, Lecture Notes, Background information etc.) 3)      Author(s) 4)      University / Organization 5)      Brief description 6)      Section(s) your materials should be categorized in
