  • 2012 ASSA Annual Meeting Call for Papers for ARIA session

The Griffith Insurance Education Foundation Griffith Insurance Education Foundation is pleased to announce they are looking for faculty for a workshop scheduled for Thursday, July 14 in Newport, Rhode Island.  The topic is: Medical Loss Ratios: Will the New Math Help or Harm the Healthcare Market?  This workshop will precede a two-part symposium on healthcare exchanges.  Please see the attached document for additional information.

2012 ASSA Annual Meeting Call for Papers for ARIA sessionARIA has recently joined the ASSA and will have the opportunity to put on one session at the ASSA Meetings in Chicago, Illinois January 6-8, 2012.  We are soliciting papers for the ARIA session.  Papers can be on any topic in insurance economics or insurance related finance.  Since we only have one session at the meeting, the section process will be competitive.  Ideally, we would like to showcase ARIA and the work our members do so we can attract new members to our annual meeting.  Paper or proposal submissions will be accepted until June 1st.  Completed papers will be given preference and only one submission per author will be considered. Please send your submission to Martin Grace at mgrace@gsu.edu.  If you are going to the ASSA meetings and would like to be a discussant, please let Martin Grace know too.
