Greetings ARIA members: Today’s listserv contains the following:

• Kulp-Wright Book Award for 2011

 Call for  Nominations Though the 2011 ARIA election of officers is several months away, it is not too early to consider individuals who might be interested in serving on ARIA’s Board of Directors.  Office is open to all ARIA members regardless of residence. Two members will be elected to a three-year term on the board.  One Board position will represent the insurance industry or an insurance organization/association, and the other position will represent academia.  Nominations are also open for Vice President, although Board members whose terms are expiring are usually considered first for nomination for this position. Names of individuals for consideration as possible nominees to the 2011-2012 ARIA Board of Directors should be emailed to Vickie Bajtelsmit at vickie.bajtelsmit@colostate.edu by February 18.  You are not required to provide a nomination for each office.  For each name you submit, please indicate the position for which you’d like the individual slated.  The slate of nominees will be presented to the Board for their approval and shared with the membership. Election ballots will be distributed to ARIA’s current members in April.
