ARIA 2011 Annual Meeting notes and information

 

Attached is the final annual meeting program.  This will be posted on the ARIA website.

 

·         The registration area will open at 1:00 PM in the West Lounge area of the North Tower. 

·         All spouses and guests must purchase a ticket to participate in the social or meal activities.

·         Sunday’s activities will begin with a 3:30 PM roundtable discussion of the future of collegiate risk management and insurance in San Diego Ballroom Salon B in the North Tower of the Marriott Hotel.

·         Internet will be available in the hotel rooms for a reduced daily rate of $6.95 per day. 

·         The purchase of hotel room internet also allows free access in the lobby and pool area. 

·         The registration desk will not have public access to the internet.

·         A job placement and resume binder will be available at the registration desk.  A loose leaf binder will be available to insert your resume or place information about a job opening.  Use this convenient service to locate a job or fill a position.  Any announcement or job opening should first be approved by Ping Wang, Chair of the Placement Committee.  Ping’s email address is wangp1@stjohns.edu

·         ARIA’s executive office will close at 4:00 PM eastern time on Thursday, August 4.  ARIA will not be able to respond to any e-mails sent after that time. 

·         Delay most questions until the registration desk opens on Sunday at 1:00 PM.

·         Emergency e-mails only should be sent to biacchi@theinstitutes.com, or call the hotel (800) 228-9290 and leave a message for Lee Gardner.

·         Room reservations at the Marriott are limited for early arrivals.  If nothing is available for your date, call the next door Manchester Grand Hyatt Hotel, (619) 232-1234, ext 1.
