2011 China International Conference on Insurance and Risk Management Call for Papers The second China International Conference on Insurance and Risk Management will be held from July 24-27 in Beijing, China. The conference is jointly sponsored by Tsinghua University’s China Center for Insurance and Risk Management (CCIRM)

ARIA 2011 Annual Meeting ARIA President Gene Lai is pleased to announce that Nobel Prizing winning economist Harry Markowitz will speak at the President’s Seminar and Luncheon on Monday, August 8. His tentative topic is “Insurance and Investment in the Game of Life.”The 2011 Annual Meeting will be held at the Marriott San Diego Hotel & Marina from Sunday, August 7 to Wednesday, August 10. Additional meeting details will be posted on the ARIA website at www.aria.org as they become available.Non-members pay a higher annual meeting registration fee. Also, ARIA’s annual election will take place next month. Only current members will receive an electronic ballot.
