8th International Microinsurance Conference Call for Papers
The 8th International Microinsurance Conference will be held November 6-8, 2012 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The deadline for submissions is May 15, 2012. Please see the attached document for additional information.
The Journal of Insurance Issues Call for Papers
The Journal of Insurance Issues (JII), official journal of the Southern and Western Risk and Insurance Associations is accepting article submissions in the areas of risk, insurance, and related
disciplines. Submission guidelines for authors are available at http://www.insuranceissues.org
2013 ASSA Annual Meeting Call for Papers for ARIA session
The 2013 ASSA Annual Meeting is scheduled for January 4-6 (Friday, Saturday, Sunday), 2013 in San Diego, California. Papers and 3-5 page proposals will be accepted until June 1. Please send submissions to Martin Grace at mgrace@gsu.edu. Selections will be made within two weeks. Members who would like to participate as discussants are also invited to let Martin Grace know. The actual date and time of the ARIA session will be published in early September.
The Institutes and The Griffith Insurance Education Foundation affiliation
The Institutes and The Griffith Insurance Education Foundation have entered into a formal affiliation effective May 1, 2012. Please see the attached press release for additional information.
ARIA 2012-2013 election ballots
Electronic election ballots and biographies will be distributed soon to all current 2012 ARIA members. All current members are encouraged to take a few minutes to vote. For those members who have not renewed their ARIA membership and wish to do so, please renew immediately at www.wiley.com or by calling Wiley-Blackwell Publishing at 1-800-835-6770. Then, contact the ARIA Executive Office for further instructions regarding the election ballot.

ARIA 2012 Annual Meeting
ARIA’s 2012 Annual Meeting will be held August 5-8 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. ARIA will be celebrating its 80th anniversary on Monday evening with a dinner reception at the Mill City Museum. Meeting highlights and hotel information are now available on the ARIA website at www.aria.org Electronic meeting registration will be available mid May.
