The Western Risk and Insurance Association’s 2008 Annual Meeting will be held on January 2-5, 2008 in Hawaii. The deadline for submissions is October 15, 2007. Please see the attached document for additional details.

2007 Homeland Security Symposium

The Institute for Infrastructure and Information Assurance at James Madison University in cooperation with the Federal Facilities Council of the National Academies presents the 2007 Homeland Security Symposium, Cascading Infrastructure Failures: Avoidance and Response. This symposium will be held at The National Academy of Sciences in Washington, DC on May 16. Please see the attached document for additional details.

20^th International Summer School 2007 of the Swiss Association of Actuaries

The 20^th International Summer School entitled Market-Valuation Methods in Life and Pension Insurance will take place beginning Monday, August 20 to Friday, August 24 at the University of Lausanne, Lausanne, Switzerland.
