 37^th ASTIN Colloquium/Casualty Actuarial Society Spring Meeting 37^th ASTIN Colloquium in conjunction with the Casualty Actuarial Society’s Spring Meeting will be held on June 19-22 in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.  Papers will be accepted through January 31.  Please see the attached document for additional details.

 58^th Annual San Francisco All Industry Day The Golden Gate Chapter of CPCU will be holding their 58^th Annual All Industry Day on Friday, March 9.  Please see the attached document for additional details.

 Les Strickler Innovation in Instruction Award 2007 Call for Proposals ARIA members and others interested in risk management and insurance education are invited to submit proposals detailing innovative ideas they have developed and used in risk management and insurance instruction.  The winner will make a presentation at the ARIA 2007 Annual Meeting in Quebec City, Canada.  The deadline for proposals is February 28, 2007.  Proposals should be sent to Martin Halek at mhalek@uga.edu.  Please see the attached document for additional details.

 RMI Academic, Research, and Professional Positions postings on ARIA website ARIA provides a clearinghouse for job and career opportunities at academic, research, and professional institutions around the world geared toward individuals holding a Ph.D. related to insurance, risk management, finance, and actuarial science. If you are interested in advertising a position through ARIA’s listserv and then posting the job announcement on the ARIA website, please follow these guidelines: 

Ø      All job announcements must be submitted in Microsoft Word or Adobe Acrobat (pdf) format.  Files prepared in any other format will not be accepted. Ø      Links to job announcements on employers’ websites are also accepted.Ø      Please send the file and/or link via email to Anne Kleffner at anne.kleffner@haskayne.ucalgary.ca for posting.Ø      Jobs without a substantial academic or research component will not be posted.  If you are unsure about the announcement, please email Anne Kleffner for further consideration.
