 RIMS  RIMS Annual Meeting will be held April 29-May 3 in New Orleans.  The early bird registration deadline is February 23.  Please see the attached document for additional details or visit the website at www.rims.org

 WRIA The Western Risk and Insurance Association is pleased to announce that the 2008 Annual meeting will be held at the Sheraton Kauai - Poipu Beach on the island of Kauai, Hawaii.  The dates for the meeting will be January 2-5, 2008.  We would like to invite everyone to join us for what we hope will be an educational and productive meeting. A full Call for Papers will be forthcoming in the Spring; however, if you have any questions, please contact Ryan Lee, WRIA Program Chair at ryan.lee@haskayne.ucalgary.ca

 JRI Book Review website Journal of Risk and Insurance Book Review Editor Dave Cather is pleased to invite all ARIA members and their colleagues to visit the new JRI Book Review website at http://journalofriskandinsurance.org/book_review/ The website contains an updated list of books available for review in the JRI, including a large number of books published in 2006.  ARIA members are encouraged to visit the website periodically, as the list will be updated throughout the year to reflect new releases in 2007.  Reviewers receive a complimentary copy of the book they select from the list, and their reviews will be printed in the JRI.  If you have any questions or suggestions for adding books to the list, please contact Dave Cather at cather@psu.edu

 PERI PERI will award up to 40 scholarships valued at $1,000 each to representatives of small public jurisdictions and nonprofit organizations interested in attending the 2007 Annual Conference in Boston, Massachusetts on June 10-13.  Applications are due on March 1, 2007.  Please see the attached document for additional details or visit the website at www.riskinstitute.org
