University of Wisconsin, School of Business The University of Wisconsin, School of Business, Department of Actuarial Science, Risk Management and Insurance Department invites outstanding scholars to apply for appointments as post-doctoral lecturers for 2007-08. Please see the attached document for additional details.
2007 Kulp-Wright Book Award The Kulp-Wright Book Award committee is reviewing publications for this year’s award. To be eligible, the book must have been published in 2005. The primary contribution of the book should lie in the primary fields of risk and insurance and should appeal to a broad cross-section of persons concerned with the fields of risk and insurance. The award winner receives a certificate. If you would like to suggest that the committee review a specific book, please send the title, author(s), and publisher information to Patricia Born at patricia.born@csun.edu. The deadline for submissions is April 15, 2007.
Excellence in Teaching Award This new award recognizes excellence in RMI teaching. Applicants should have a distinguished record of excellent teaching throughout their academic career. For additional information and an application, please see the attached document. The application deadline is March 30, 2007.
Award for Early Career Scholarly Achievement This new award honors the distinguished achievement of RMI scholars who are within 10 years of award of the Ph.D. Applicants should have a significant number of high-quality publications relative to the length of their academic career, as the award is intended as a research award. For additional information and an application, please see the attached document. The application deadline is March 30, 2007.
